UV Disinfection

Physical disinfection – fast, effective, and residue-free

UV-C DISINFECTION

UV-C light provides rapid and effective inactivation of microorganisms through a purely physical process. When bacteria, viruses, or protozoa are exposed to germicidal wavelengths—primarily at 254 nm—the high-energy radiation is absorbed by their DNA and RNA, causing the formation of thymine dimers.

These molecular changes prevent microorganisms from replicating or infecting new hosts. The process is chemical-free, residue-free, and environmentally safe, making it ideal for industrial, marine, and healthcare applications.

INTEGRATED SAFETY AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

MARINCO disinfection units feature advanced safety management and remote-control technologies, ensuring total protection during UV-C and ozone operation. Integrated Features:

• 360° motion sensors and people-recognition for automatic shutdown when presence is detected.

• Emergency stop and remote control via app or tablet.

• Real-time monitoring of environmental parameters (residual ozone, UV-C cycle status).

• Disinfection logs automatically recorded for traceability and reporting.

These features guarantee user safety, regulatory compliance, and complete operational reliability for industrial, healthcare, and marine applications.

UV-C Disinfection for Water

Benefits

ECO-FRIENDLY TREATMENT
No added heavy chemicals, and no alteration of the water’s organoleptic properties.

REDUCED MAINTENANCE

Lower maintenance requirements compared to conventional systems, with high energy efficiency..

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Fully compatible with other treatment technologies — filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO) — for a complete MARINCO integrated solution.

Specific adaptations are available for a wide range of flow rates, materials, and finishes, depending on marine or recreational applications and finishes, depending on the marine or recreational application.
